Free PDF printer

I highly recommend staying away from PDF995. The freeware version has Ads that are a pain to deal with. I'm talking big pop ups that you have to click thru. Then the setup, trying to deploy it out to many stations if you actually bought the product? They have an Autosetup.exe file that you have to ask for that does a silent install, but to try and create an MSI package.... they want you still run 3 executables after the package has been pushed out. come on. There are other software products that offer their products in MSI format and give you the deployment guides and tools when you buy their software, or other products are just simple to install. Such products are PrimoPDF or Bullzip. Both of these are very simple to use and install, have no ADs or non intrusive Ads.
Consider yourself warned, stay away from PDF995 and search for alternatives like PrimoPDF and Bullzip. Then you can use FoxIt to read the pdf's you just created. All for free.

Considerations for server-side Automation of Office

Link to MS Article on using Server-Side automation on a web server.
"SUMMARY
Developers can use Automation to Microsoft Office to build custom solutions that utilize the capabilities and features that are built into the Office product. While such programmatic development can be implemented on a client system with relative ease, there are a number of complications that can occur if Automation is to take place from server-side code such as Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP), DCOM, or a Windows NT Service.

This article discusses the complications that developers may face, offers alternatives to Automation that can speed performance, and suggests ways to configure Office if server-side Automation is unavoidable. Developers should be aware, however, that the suggestions provided below are for informational purposes only. Microsoft does not recommend or support server-side Automation of Office."
